Operational Improvements:
Low value order reviews – low value orders increase costs. Every order takes valuable time to raise, pick, pack, deliver, receive, put away and invoice. They also mean additional deliveries, which have an adverse impact on the environment.
Scheduled Deliveries: Whist our standard service level is next-day, there are operational benefits to moving to a scheduled delivery approach – with deliveries to each site on pre-arranged days each week. This has a dramatic reduction on the environmental impact of deliveries and reduces the internal cost to receive them / put them away within each customer location and process invoices.
Supply Chain Management:
The last few years of economic uncertainty and unprecedented global issues, such as Brexit, Covid and resulting price increases, the war in Ukraine and increased Middle East turmoil, has created unstable supply routes across numerous categories. Through our consultancy led approach and in consultation with customers and our manufacturer relationships, we have adapted quickly to the changing dynamics offering viable and sustainable solutions.
